Why Every Practitioner Needs a Professional Website in 2026

May 28, 2026

Why a practitioner needs a website of their own, what a Tipulim site includes, how to adapt design, connect your own domain and get found on Google.

Does a practitioner need a website?

In most cases yes. A new patient, even one who was recommended to you, usually checks the practitioner online before calling. A tidy site with a profile, a list of treatments and the option to book an appointment answers their questions without a phone call, and conveys professionalism. Without a site, the only thing a practitioner has to share is a phone number.

What every clinic gets

Every clinic in Tipulim gets an address of its own, for example my-clinic.tipulim.app. The site includes

  • a home page, and an "About" page that tells the practitioner's story
  • a services page, built automatically from the treatment types you defined, with duration and price
  • articles that you write yourself
  • a contact page, and enquiries that come in through it reach you by email and in your enquiries and leads lists
  • online booking, with no password for the patient

Design and content

Under Design in the menu you choose one of three templates, Classic, Minimalist or Bold, and adapt colours, font and logo. Under Content you edit headings, "About", services and terms. No time to write? The AI assistant can suggest wording for each field from a few sentences about you or from the address of an existing site. Details in the site branding guide.

Your own domain

On the Premium plan you can connect an address of your own, for example www.myclinic.co.il. In account settings, under "Domain and email", you type the address and send a request. We get back to you by email with the DNS record to add, and connect the domain once it is in place.

How the site helps you get found on Google

Every page on the site has a title and a description for search results, and every site has a sitemap that lets Google find the pages and articles. The content itself is up to you, and it is what matters most. A few simple rules

  • name each treatment the way a patient would search for it, and describe in a sentence or two who it suits
  • write short articles that answer questions patients actually ask you
  • keep your contact details and address the same everywhere you appear

Ranking on Google depends on competition and takes time, and no system can promise a particular position in the results.

From the site to the first appointment

Once the site is ready, the "Share booking link" screen has the link, a printable QR code and three ready-to-copy texts, for a WhatsApp status, for a message to existing patients and for the email signature. On the "About" page it is also worth writing simply who you are, which issues you treat and what a first session looks like, because a new patient wants to feel they know what to expect.

Frequently asked questions

How do I publish an article? Under Articles in the menu you write and publish, and the article appears on the site and in the sitemap. An article that explains a topic patients ask about is also a good way to show your expertise, not only for Google.

Do I need a designer or a developer? No. Everything is set up from the admin area.

What is needed for patients to book? The business profile, a location, at least one treatment type and working hours. The steps are in the getting started guide.

Which plan includes what? The full comparison is on the pricing page.
