Payment Provider Setup Guide: Sumit, PayPlus, Meshulam, Morning, Tranzila, CardCom & iCount

Why connect a payment provider?

Connecting a payment provider lets patients pay online when booking an appointment, or via a payment link you send them. It streamlines the billing process, reduces no-shows (since the patient has already paid), and creates an automatic record of every payment.

Supported providers

tipulim.app supports seven Israeli payment and invoicing providers. Choose your provider based on fees, service, and contract terms:

• Sumit — Very popular, simple interface, competitive fees. Suitable for most practitioners.
• PayPlus — Supports payments, direct debits, and customised payment pages.
• Meshulam / Grow — Specialises in payments for small businesses, user-friendly interface.
• Morning (Green Invoice) — Leading Israeli invoicing system, includes credit card processing and accounting documents.
• Tranzila — Established and proven, diverse payment processing solutions.
• CardCom — Payment processing with an emphasis on security and customisable payment pages.
• iCount — Integrated accounting + payment processing, ideal for an all-in-one solution.

Sumit — Step-by-step connection

Sumit is the most popular payment provider among tipulim.app users. Here is how to connect:

1. Log in to your Sumit account at app.sumit.co.il
2. In the side menu, click Settings → API
3. Copy your Company ID and API Key
4. Return to tipulim.app and go to Settings → Payments
5. Select "Sumit" as your payment provider
6. Paste the Company ID and API Key into the relevant fields
7. Click Save

After saving, the system will automatically verify that the connection is working.

PayPlus — Step-by-step connection

1. Log in to the PayPlus management panel
2. Navigate to Settings → API Keys
3. Copy your API Key and Secret Key
4. If you want a branded payment page, also copy the Payment Page UID
5. In tipulim.app → Settings → Payments, select "PayPlus"
6. Enter the three fields and save

Meshulam / Grow — Step-by-step connection

1. Log in to the Meshulam (Grow) management area
2. In account settings, locate your User ID, Page Code, and API Key
3. In tipulim.app, select "Meshulam" as your provider
4. Enter the three details and save

Morning (Green Invoice) — Step-by-step connection

Morning is Israel's most popular invoicing system. The integration enables both payment processing and automatic invoice generation.

1. Log in to your Morning account at app.greeninvoice.co.il
2. Navigate to Settings → Integrations → API
3. Create a new key — you will receive a Client ID and Client Secret
4. If you want to use the payment plugin, also locate the Plugin ID
5. In tipulim.app → Settings → Payments, select "Morning"
6. Enter the details and save

Advantage: Every payment received in tipulim.app automatically generates an invoice or receipt in Morning.

Tranzila — Step-by-step connection

1. Obtain your terminal details from Tranzila
2. You will need: Terminal Name, Public Key, and Private Key
3. In tipulim.app, select "Tranzila" and enter the details

CardCom — Step-by-step connection

CardCom offers secure payment pages with advanced customisation options.

1. Log in to the CardCom merchant portal
2. In settings, locate your Terminal Number and API Name
3. In tipulim.app → Settings → Payments, select "CardCom"
4. Enter both fields and save

iCount — Step-by-step connection

iCount combines accounting and payment processing. Ideal for practitioners who want to manage invoices, receipts, and payments in one place.

1. Log in to your iCount account
2. Navigate to Settings → API
3. Locate your Company ID (CID), User, and Password (dedicated API password)
4. If you have a payment page, also locate the Paypage ID
5. In tipulim.app → Settings → Payments, select "iCount"
6. Enter the details and save

Testing the connection

After saving your details, we recommend making a test payment:

• Book an appointment as a patient (via your public site)
• Complete a payment with a test credit card
• Verify the payment appears in both tipulim.app and the payment provider's dashboard

Frequently asked questions

Can I switch providers? Yes, at any time. Previous payments will remain in the system.

What are the fees? Fees are set by the payment provider, not by us. Typically 1.5%–3% per transaction.

Is a provider required? No. You can work without online payments and collect cash or bank transfers.

What is the difference between a payment provider and an invoicing provider? A payment provider (Sumit, PayPlus, Meshulam, Tranzila, CardCom) enables credit card payments. An invoicing provider (Morning, iCount) generates accounting documents. Some providers (Morning, iCount, Sumit) offer both.
